Keeping it simple is the ultimate motto to remember when decorating for the holidays. It's easiest to keep your home decor in neutral colors if you're worried about it coordinating and looking classic. You can never go wrong with silver and gold accents, from silver ornaments to gold table décor such as candles and trays.
Don't be afraid to add a touch of color with garland or fun ornaments sparingly throughout your Christmas tree, keeping the main ornaments neutral. This way, it's not an eyesore when you get home looking at your decorations and instead, it's cozy and comforting.
